Fitness Training

With the start of the hockey season just around the corner we want to give everyone the chance to up their fitness levels. With this is mind we are starting fitness sessions on a Tuesday night – starting this Tuesday (3rd September).

We have forged a partnership with Clanfit gym in the West End, near Kelvingrove Park (you can find them on Facebook). We have hired out the entire gym with equipment for fitness, strength and conditioning training from 8pm – 9pm on Tuesday evenings. Hopefully this means folk will be more likely to keep up fitness training in the winter months when a heated gym would be preferable to the Glasgow winter weather!

The first session will be run by a Clanfit coach called Sam who will show everyone the equipment etc. Thereafter sessions will be run by our own Ben Brewer.

Now for the really good news – the sessions are open to all Rottenrow and BlueSox members,  as well as any potential club members who’d like to come along and meet the guys…..and it will only cost you £1!

If you have any questions, would like more information or if you’re thinking of popping long to meet the teams feel free to drop an email to Stuart McNeill (captainindoor[at]rottenrowhockey.co.uk)
